Frequently asked questions

Can I include a photo in the letter?

Yes. Upload one or more photos and we print them with the letter. Photos print on standard paper as part of the letter — they are not separate prints.

Can my child write the letter?

Yes. You can type a child's words on their behalf, or upload a PDF of a hand-drawn picture or written letter to be mailed exactly as drawn.

Can I mail to a retirement home or care home?

Yes. Use the recipient's name on the first line and the care home's address. Some facilities like the recipient's room number or unit on its own line — check with the home if unsure.

Can I send a letter from outside Canada?

Yes. Many Canadians mail letters back to grandparents from abroad. Pay in CAD; international cards are accepted. The letter is mailed from inside Canada through Canada Post.

How long does it take?

We mail within 24 hours of payment on business days. Canada Post typically delivers domestic letters in 2-4 business days.
