1

Upload your document

Drag and drop a PDF or image (JPG, PNG). The virtual printer accepts files up to 100 pages.

2

Enter your address

Type the Canadian address where you want the printed document delivered. That's the only address we need.

3

Receive it by mail

We print, fold, seal, stamp, and ship through Canada Post. Most documents arrive within 2–4 business days.

Why Use a Virtual Printer?

Printers are expensive, ink runs out, and print shops are inconvenient. A virtual printer skips all of that — and adds mailing in for free.

Cheaper than owning a printer

A new printer plus ink can cost $200+ a year. If you only print a few times, paying $6 per document is far cheaper — and you never run out of ink.

Print from anywhere

Print from your phone, laptop, or tablet. No drivers, no setup, no Wi-Fi pairing. Upload and you're done.

Print and mail in one step

Most printers stop at printing. PostPal prints, envelopes, stamps, and mails your document — all included in the $6 flat rate.

Skip the print shop

No commute, no waiting in line, no figuring out the self-serve machine. Upload from your couch and have it delivered to your door.

Works for travelers and remote workers

Need a contract or form printed and mailed while you're abroad? Upload it and have it sent to a Canadian address — no printer required.

Reliable, professional output

High-quality black-and-white printing on standard 8.5" × 11" letter paper, neatly folded into a sealed business envelope.

Virtual Printer FAQ

Everything you need to know about printing online with PostPal.

What is a virtual printer?

A virtual printer is an online service that lets you print documents without owning a physical printer. You upload your file (PDF or image), and a remote printing service prints it on real paper and mails it to your address. PostPal is a virtual printer for Canada — upload, pay $6, and your printed document arrives by mail in 2–4 business days.

How does PostPal's virtual printer work?

It takes three steps: (1) upload your document — PDF or image; (2) enter the mailing address you want it sent to; (3) pay $6 and we handle the rest. We print your file on letter-sized paper, fold it into a sealed envelope with postage, and Canada Post delivers it.

How much does it cost to print online with PostPal?

A flat $6 CAD covers up to 7 pages, including printing, envelope, stamp, and delivery anywhere in Canada. Documents 8–11 pages add a $1.50 extra-stamp fee. Documents 12–100 pages use an XL package for an extra $6. There are no hidden fees.

Can I print without a printer of my own?

Yes — that is exactly what PostPal's virtual printer is for. You never need to own a printer, buy ink, or visit a print shop. Upload from any device (phone, laptop, tablet), and your document is printed and delivered to your mailbox.

What file types can I upload to the virtual printer?

You can upload PDF, JPG, and PNG files. Maximum file size is 10MB. Most documents up to 100 pages are supported. If you have a Word document, save it as PDF first (File → Save As → PDF).

How long does it take to receive my printed document?

PostPal mails your document within 1 business day of receiving payment. Canada Post delivery typically takes 2–4 business days for domestic mail, so most customers receive their document within a week of placing the order.

Is the virtual printer service available outside Canada?

PostPal's virtual printer currently mails to Canadian addresses. If you need to print and mail abroad, use our standard Send Mail service which supports international delivery for $12.

Is my document private and secure?

Yes. Documents are uploaded over an encrypted connection and stored only as long as needed to print and mail your order. We never read, share, or repurpose your files. After your document is printed and mailed, it is removed from our system.

Why use a virtual printer instead of buying a printer?

Printers are expensive to maintain — ink cartridges alone often cost more than the printer itself. If you only need to print occasionally, a virtual printer is far cheaper, takes zero setup, and includes mailing. You also avoid paper, envelopes, postage, and a trip to the post office.

Can I print a contract, lease, or legal document?

Yes. The virtual printer is commonly used for contracts, leases, tax forms, insurance documents, government forms, and signed paperwork. Print quality is professional black-and-white on standard letter paper.
