What is PostPal?
PostPal is an online mail service that lets you send physical letters without going to the post office. You type or upload your letter online, and we print it, put it in an envelope, add postage, and mail it through Canada Post.
How do I send a letter online in Canada?
Go to PostPal.ca, click "Send Mail," enter your letter content and addresses, then pay. We handle everything else - printing, envelope, stamp, and mailing. Your letter arrives in 2-4 business days.
Is PostPal cheaper than going to the post office?
For most people, yes. A stamp costs $1.15, but you also need paper, envelope, printer ink, and time to go to a mailbox. PostPal's $5 flat rate includes everything, and you never leave home. For multi-page letters, PostPal is often more affordable since the price stays the same regardless of pages.
How long does delivery take?
Domestic mail within Canada takes 2-4 business days. International mail takes 6-12 business days depending on the destination. These are standard Canada Post delivery times.
Can I send mail without a printer?
Yes! That's exactly what PostPal is for. You type your letter online or upload a PDF, and we print it for you. No printer needed.
Can I attach documents or PDFs?
Yes, you can upload PDF documents and we'll print them along with your letter. The flat rate covers multi-page documents.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required to send mail. You can create an optional free account to save addresses and view your order history.
Can I send mail internationally?
Yes, PostPal delivers worldwide for $8 CAD flat. We mail to any country that Canada Post serves.
What if I don't have a return address?
You can skip adding your return address. We offer two options: use PostPal's office address (so we can notify you of any delivery issues) or send with no return address at all.
Is my letter private and secure?
Yes. Your letter is printed in a secure facility and sealed in an envelope. We don't read or store your letter content after mailing.
Can I track my letter?
Standard lettermail through Canada Post is not tracked. This keeps costs low. For most letters, tracking isn't necessary since delivery rates are very high.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure Stripe payment system.
Can I cancel or edit my letter after ordering?
Contact us immediately at [email protected]. If we haven't printed your letter yet, we can make changes or issue a refund.
What size paper do you print on?
We print on standard 8.5" x 11" letter-size paper in black and white, then fold it to fit a standard business envelope.
